Get to know Me

I am originally from Botswana, Africa. I am 21 years old and I am a mixed Zambian, Motswana and British girl; with my mum being a mixed Zambian Motswana and my dad being British.  I am an artist and do either concept drawings and fashion illustrations that I post online on my Instagram and Twitter. I do some freelance photography either at fashion shows I go to or shoots I set up to engage and grow in my photography skills and dance as well. I have a passion for fashion. Its more of an obsession that I have to create and find my style and I grow more in what I find each time I shop or recreate different styles with my already existing or new clothes. I lived my whole life in Botswana but I have gotten to travel to Britain, Zambia and South Africa getting to go to Cape Town and Rustenburg. I am currently a Broadcasting and Journalism student at Limkokwing University.

Get to know askartsgirl.com

This blog- askartsgirl.com was initially started after a having four years of being a an artist, a dancer, a practicing photographer poet writer and online book writer on Wattpad; I decided to set up my own blog. I set up askartsgirl.com to infuse my personal style of fashion, art, photography and my love for dance-for people who love it as well.. My goal is to inspire edgy and creative fashion style and as an artist and share where to buy art supplies that can be bought at easy bargained prices, share my experiences being a photographer and the world of dance in Southern Africa . “Ask arts girl” is a phrase for the blog I came up with since I always asked my sisters, father, mother and aunt for advice on what I needed to buy or improve fashion wise, photography wise, art and dance. I then I realized that we always ask for advice and clarification when we seek to either buy or pursue goals or dreams in our lives.

Thank you for taking the time to come by- do stay awhile and enjoy the inspiration that follows!
